CES pH Down: An acidic buffer that functions as concentrated pH adjustment liquid which lowers the pH of water and nutrient solutions. This highly concentrated formula is to be used sparingly. Gradually add to pure water or nutrient solution, in small increments. Observe the initial reading and test the pH. Continue the small application process and stir well until the desired pH is achieved. The amount of CES pH Down required for adjustment will vary, depending on the strength of nutrient mixture and the purity of the water source used. It can be diluted when applied to reservoirs with nutrients.
